We make final decisions on complaints that have not been resolved by the NHS in England and UK government departments and other public organisations. We do this fairly and without taking sides. Our service is free.
Coronavirus (COVID19) update
At this time of national emergency we have decided that we should not place additional burdens on the NHS. We are not currently accepting new health service complaints nor progressing existing ones that require contact with the NHS. We will keep the situation under close and regular review.
We will continue to progress complaints about UK Government departments for now, but we recognise that many of their resources are also stretched and will keep this under review.
