We have been working with the NHS, members of the public and advocacy organisations to prepare a draft Complaint Standards Framework, to be ready for public consultation from 25 March.
Like many other organisations, we have been actively monitoring the development of coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on the public and the organisations we work with.
This is a time of exceptional demand on public services, particularly the NHS, and members of the public are understandably focused on the needs of family and loved ones.
After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the start of the public consultation. We can see at this time we are unlikely to get the public response and feedback from public services we would like, as people’s priorities are rightly focused elsewhere.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will let you know as soon as we can start the public consultation.
