About the role

As an information rights officer you will handle information rights requests from people who are seeking both personal or public information. You’ll use your knowledge of data protection and freedom of information best practice and legislation to deliver an exemplary service.  You’ll bring your experience of responding to data protection and freedom of information requests and  will be encouraged to develop that experience into an industry recognised qualification. Information rights at PHSO is fast-paced and demands attention to detail, personal integrity, enthusiasm and a commitment to our values.
