Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman, Julie Mellor, said:
We are delighted that Michael King has been appointed as the new Local Government Ombudsman. He brings a wealth of experience and outstanding vision to the role, ultimately helping to bring justice to people where public services have fallen short.
