Information request for complaints statistics about the Treasury Solicitor’s Department (now Government Legal Department)

I am writing further to your email of 7 March 2015, in which you asked for complaints statistics about the Treasury Solicitor's Department.

Please find a summary of these complaints below.

Year to date figures were correct as at the end of February 2015. At this point, we had one open case. Please note that not all complaints are received and closed within the same business year, and so the figures reflect this.

All of these cases were closed short of a statutory investigation being carried out. PHSO cannot consider complaints about the way in which organisations conduct proceedings in the civil courts, which could explain why none of these complaints were investigated.
