About the role

Summer Legal Intern for PHSO 

The Legal team at PHSO are seeking law graduates for a unique summer internship position in our Manchester or London office. 

On a daily basis the Legal team provide advice on a wide range of casework issues. The team also deal with pre-action matters and litigation. 
As an intern you will work closely with our In-House legal team, providing timely and practical support on a variety of legal and administrative tasks. The role will require you to assist with extensive legal research, reviewing policy documents, triaging legal advice requests, producing case summaries and general administrative tasks. 

The ideal candidates will have an interest in public law, excellent organisational skills with an ability to work under pressure and produce high quality work. Applicants must also be highly IT literate. 

Although no legal experience is necessary, applicants must have or be working towards a recognised legal qualification students including LLB, GDC, LPC and BPTC. The internship is not paid but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. This a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the Ombuds sector.
