Ombudsman Rob Behrens wrote to the Secretary of State for Health & Social Care, Sajid Javid, about the move from Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) to Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) as set out in the Health and Care Bill.
In the letter, the Ombudsman outlined concerns about how the transition could adversely impact the provision and management of NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC), referencing the evidence from PHSO's Continuing Healthcare report.
