Our response welcomes the development of a National Patient Safety Syllabus, led by the Academy of Royal Medical Colleges. It will provide a common framework for patient safety education and training for all staff working in the NHS.
Complaints are a vital source of insight to help improve care quality and safety. We have outlined how the syllabus could reflect learning from complaints and link to our forthcoming Complaints Standards Framework.
