About us

We are the final stage for complaints about the NHS in England and public services delivered by the UK Government. We look into complaints where someone believes there has been injustice or hardship because an organisation has not acted properly or fairly or has given a poor service and not put things right.

Our service is free for everyone.

About the role

The Digital Communications Officer is part of our Communications team in the External Affairs, Strategy and Communications Department. You’ll be at the frontline of our online communications with people who complain, organisations we investigate and wider audiences.

An expert at creating excellent content that resonates with audiences and expands digital reach, you’ll be passionate about creating user-friendly and accessible digital communications.

With a particular interest in social media channels, you’ll have a strong understanding of Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, blogs, podcasts and e-newsletters, with an eye on emerging digital trends. You’ll also be comfortable and competent with website content management systems and analysing data.

We work in a fast-paced environment with a small team of skilled and dedicated communications staff. We’re looking for a user-focused team player who will bring their creativity and professionalism to our digital communications and the wider organisation.
