About the role

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for providing a safe, functional, and comfortable workplace and environment that meets the business's needs. Areas of work include; accommodation, space planning, health and safety, security, wellbeing, maintenance, housekeeping, equipment ordering and repairs, and meeting room support

The Facilities Coordinator provides front line end user support to approximately 500 staff across our Manchester and London offices. Logging and resolving the enquiries raised over the telephone, self-service, or face to face to deliver a customer focused service.

Main Duties

•    Provide end user support for facilities and accommodation related enquiries 
•    Identify, record, incidents and service requests enabling prompt resolution
•    Ensures office environment complies with all Health & Safety requirements 
•    Ensures employee risk assessments are completed for both office and home environments 
•    Identify risks to the working environment, mitigate where applicable
•    Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of maintenance.
•    Support team moves and office reorganisations including furniture moves and office equipment / furniture as appropriate, arranging disposals where necessary 
•    Monitor and maintain office supplies 
•    Liaise with suppliers and contractors to order stock/equipment 
•    Maintain register for all assets 
•    Provide the appropriate resources for all employees 
•    Provide first line end user support for ICT related enquiries
•    To ensure all legislative, regulatory, policy, process, procedures and guidance requirements of PHSO are adhered to 
•    Support the creation of local operating procedures to ensure a consistent delivery of service across the team.
