About the role
We are looking for programme and project managers with a broad range of experience in delivering business change programmes/projects to join our Portfolio Management Office (PMO).
The PMO is responsible for defining, coordinating and managing the delivery of PHSO’s change portfolio. Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will work alongside PMO staff, business analysts, technical teams, other programme/project managers and the wider business to define, prioritise, plan, deliver and evaluate our change initiatives.
As a PMO Project Lead, you will be expected to lead on one of more of our strategic programmes and projects, successfully delivering business changes to high standards, on time and within budget. The PMO Project Lead will also play a key role in establishing the PMO Centre of Excellence, supporting the development, embedding and continuous improvement of PMO policies, guidance and standards for programme and project management. Ideally, you will have experience of working in a portfolio or programme management office, supporting staff to develop new skills and embedding good practice.
