Alan Graham joins the board as Non-Executive Director

We are very pleased to announce that Alan Graham MBE has joined the board as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee, and brings to our organisation his vast experience of both financial services and the voluntary sectors.

Since his retirement in 2004, after a 40 year career at Rothschilds Bank (in Europe, North America and South East Asia), he has held a variety of non-executive and trustee roles in the public, private and voluntary sectors, where he utilises his expertise in audit policy and practice, accounting and financial regulation, corporate governance, risk and assurance management and strategic planning.

Alan is currently a Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of The Charity Bank, a Non-Executive Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of The Insolvency Service (an executive agency of the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills) and a member of the Football Association's National Anti-Discrimination Chairmans' Panel. He was, for nine years until 2013, a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of The Serious Fraud Office.

Alan has also had a long and active involvement in the charity sector. He is a Trustee (and former Chairman) of the Motor Neurone Disease Association of England, Wales and Northern Ireland and was for 10 years a Director of the International Alliance of MND/ALS Associations.
