The Health and Care Bill create a 'safe space' for information held by the Health Service Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB). We support the establishment of HSSIB but are concerned about how the Bill will affect PHSO's role and functions.
We welcome the amendment to Schedule 14 of the Bill tabled by Baroness Neuberger, Lord Etherton and Baroness Parminter to grant PHSO access to information held by HSSIB.
