About the role
As Head of Information Assurance, you will be responsible for the delivery of an efficient and effective information management function. This will involve the development of information assurance policies and procedures, overseeing the team responsible for maintaining our network security, our information and records management work and our information request function. You will also work closely with all Executive Directors to take the lead role in the management of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman's information assets which will include information asset owner responsibilities.
In addition to this, you will provide direction and support to the information assurance team, engaging and motivating the team, building an open and supportive culture to ensure the delivery of an effective customer focused service across Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.
This role is the designated Deputy Senior Information Risk Owner for the Office, reporting to the Executive Director for Finance and Corporate Services on all related matters.
