About us
We are the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman, an independent national ombudsman service. We are here to make final decisions on complaints that are yet to be resolved by the NHS in England, UK government departments, and some other public organisations. We do this fairly and transparently without taking sides, and our service is completely free.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a track record of leading and supporting a broad range of successful projects to join our ICT team.
Reporting to the ICT Change and Portfolio Manager, you will work alongside with other business analysts, technical teams, project managers, change manger, testers and the wider business to perform a variety of tasks in the identification, definition and development of solutions to deliver business and IT processes.
As an experienced Business Analyst, you will be able to effectively and efficiently manage the definition, analysis, delivery and maintenance of business, project and system requirements to support our programme of transformation. You will have the skills and enthusiasm to hit the ground running.
Working across the full project lifecycle, you’ll gather requirements, define processes and identify effective business solutions in line with our IT and business strategy. You’ll be familiar with a broad range of business analysis techniques such as information gathering, workshopping, planning, and testing. Ideally, you will also have experience of leading teams and successfully embedding good business analysis practice through the development of frameworks, guidance and training.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of success within complex project environments, and have proven experience of working in an IT enabled change environment.
This is a great opportunity for a highly analytical, natural communicator with a broad range of previous business analysis experience to help improve the way we deliver change across ICT and the business and drive improvements in public services.
