About us

We are the final stage for complaints about the NHS in England and public services delivered by the UK Government. We look into complaints where someone believes there has been injustice or hardship because an organisation has not acted properly or fairly or has given a poor service and not put things right.

Our service is free for everyone.

About the role

As Research and Insight Manager you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our work. You will lead the development and delivery of our research programme.

Your work will be crucial to help us understand how we can improve our own services and to inform the development of our insight work so that we can help identify and drive service improvements across the NHS and central government.

Your experience as a researcher with an established background in leading public sector research projects will help ensure we produce and analyse robust qualitative and quantitative research that informs the full range of the Ombudsman's functions.

How to apply

Your application should be in the form of written CV and supporting statement

The written statement should cover no more than 2 sides of A4 paper in font size 12, demonstrating why you think you are suitable for the post, and using examples to show how your knowledge, skills and experience meets the requirements of the person specification.
