The annual Ombudsman's Lecture at the London School of Economics takes place on Thursday 13 December at 6.30pm.
The lecture 'Avoiding the avoidable: Comparative approaches to patient safety' will be delivered by Sir Liam Donaldson, former Chief Medical Officer and patient safety expert.
Sir Liam will explore the latest international thinking on approaches to patient safety, and the challenges and opportunities this presents for health care leaders.
Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman Rob Behrens will then deliver a brief response.
This is a public lecture. You do not need to get tickets in advance.
Places tend to fill up quickly so we advise you to arrive at least half an hour before the start of the event.
A podcast recording of the lecture will be available after the event.
